This ended up ranking at 5th place overall, and 1st place in sound design for Interstellar Game Jam 7

Using silly planes to travel for fourteen hours across the ocean back on Earth? Months in a spaceship to Centurion II B? Forget that old technology—because we at Eldritch Locomotion Corp. have developed travel so quick you'd be hard-pressed not to call it instant! Using a few tricks from the afterlife and some simple principles about wormholes, we’ve retrofitted our innovation into everyday devices you know and love, you won’t even notice a thing! Whether you're traveling to the next town over by going down a flight of stairs, or a few lightyears through a doorway. Well, nothing notable except you've arrived as easy as that!

CONTROLS: Just the mouse!

JAM DETAILS:

Made for interstellar game jam 7 by yours truly, me, myself. I started work around halfway through the jam (72 hours or so left), so I'm pretty pleased with how much I got done despite being in a bit of a crunch! The theme was Elevate. Due to the time limit I obviously used a lot of external assets and made only a few myself.

"Help/spoilers in case you are confused after playing for you first time" or "no, actually, you're not supposed to keep the door open for... THAT long":

Ghosts board the elevator periodically. The number on the wall indicates the weight of the elevator, ghosts increase it. When a ghost is making a noise you may see the floor button flash for the floor they want to go to. You will hear an audio-cue (a ghostly sigh) and see the weight drop when a ghost leaves the elevator out the (open) door. You have to give them some time to leave, just not too much.
note: If the game closes, that's by design. If I had two more hours there would have been a game-over screen, please imagine instead a black screen and me telling you "thank you for choosing Eldritch Locomotion".

This was SUCH a fun experience, I would genuinely play a full side-story based experience of this game! Great voice acting and clever shaders, overall a great jam submission!

There must be some reason behind uploading a godot logo
